Venaseal Vein Closure

, Venaseal Vein ClosureAt Coastal Vein Care in Newport Beach, we are passionate about providing our patients with the latest and most innovative treatments for treating diseased, superficial veins. For patients suffering from unwanted, visible, and small saphenous veins, we offer revolutionary Venaseal vein closure treatments to help you reclaim a clear and vein-free complexion.

What is Venaseal Vein Closure?

Venaseal™ Vein Closure is an advanced adhesive designed to close and eliminate small, superficial veins beneath the surface of skin. This cutting-edge treatment is the only non-tumescent, non-thermal, non-sclerosant treatment that is performed using a proprietary medical adhesive. During the procedure, the specialized adhesive is delivered intravenously to close the unwanted vein. This specialized method eliminates the risk of thermal nerve injury that is possible with alternative thermal-based procedures. This is a safe and effective treatment that can offer immediate improvements.

How Does it Work?

During treatment, the Venaseal adhesive is delivered directly to the targeted vein using a small catheter tube. The catheter is gently inserted throughout the length of the vein to allow for the delivery of Venaseal. As the tube delivers specific amounts of the adhesive, it is removed from the vein. Using a compression method, pressure is applied to the vein once the adhesive is delivered. This is effective at sealing off the entirety of the vein. Most patents feel little if any discomfort during this process. Once the vein is closed it then dies off in the time following treatment. It is then naturally absorbed and removed from the body. The small amount of the Venaseal substance used during treatment is also naturally absorbed with the treated vein overtime – eliminating any risk of damage associated with other thermal energy procedures.

Because the Venaseal closure system is designed to minimize recovery time, many patients are able to return to their normal daily activities immediately following treatment. Patients may experience improvements as soon as the diseased vein is closed. With this safe and advanced treatment, you can reclaim a clear complexion and improved overall health!
